Hi, I’m Chelsea! Creator and Owner of Creatrix Nail Lab and Creatrix Digital. I’ve been a business owner in the nail industry for over six years. I starting out as a home-based hobbyist and turned my passion into a thriving career. During the COVID-19 pandemic when creativity and connection mattered more than ever, I made it a priority to mantain my own happiness as well as others by establishing a “happy and safe space” to escape and feel pampered. I recently stepped back from behind the desk to really understand what my true passion is. That passion is mentorship!

Along the way, I started a YouTube channel to inspire other nail techs. Through that channel, I shared tips, tutorials, and insights from my own experience. I soon realized I also wanted to reach moms who are navigating life’s challenges by offering guidance, encouragement, and a reminder that it’s never too late to reclaim your life, embrace change, and start over for yourself. It is never too late.

Prior to stepping into business, I was a single mother to a baby boy. I graduated from CSU Northridge with a B.A. in Communication Studies in 2013. From that point, my main goal was to support myself and young son. I worked in the casino industry as a blackjack dealer for the next 10 years. In 2018, I began dabbling in nails — after TONS of failed side hustles. By 2022, I finally took the leap and prioritized my own success and happiness. I built my brand Roman Aesthetix and provided services as a licensed manicurist and esthetician.

These days, I have rebranded under the name Creatrix Nail Lab/Creatrix Digital. Entrepreneurship still runs heavy in my blood. I’m a proud, hard-working momma of, now, two amazing children. Balancing work, family, and life’s shifts has taught me so much about resilience, adaptability, and the power in choosing myself so I can pour from a full cup. This space is a reflection of that journey. A place to share insights, inspiration, and tools for anyone looking to navigate life’s pivots while staying true to themselves.
